Kyle Pitts caught 3-of-3 targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 1 loss to the Steelers.

Pitts scored the game’s lone touchdown, sitting wide open in the end zone in the second quarter for a 12-yard score. He wasn’t used for much else, with Charlie Woerner seeing a target before he did. The Falcons offense still has a ways to go, but fantasy mangers will be happy seeing the touchdown in Pitts’ scoresheet. Pitts is a back-end TE1 heading into Week 2 against the Eagles.

Ray-Ray McCloud caught 4-of-7 targets for 52 yards in the Falcons’ Week 1 loss to the Steelers.

McCloud was Kirk Cousins’s favorite target as the only wideout to get over 3 targets. He caught a pair of deep targets over the middle of the field with Robinson the only other Falcons player getting over three catches. McCloud is an interesting waiver option and could have some FLEX value heading into Week 2.

Darnell Mooney caught 1-of-3 targets for 15 yards in the Falcons’ Week 1 loss to the Steelers.

Mooney saw most of his usage early in the game, getting Kirk Cousins’ first two targets. However, that only conveyed into one catch as he was barely heard from the rest of the game. Mooney is not a top-two option for the Falcons offense and is a wide receiving option only in deeper leagues.

London felt like an afterthought in the Falcons’ offense, though anyone not named Bijan Robinson was. He only saw three targets, catching two. Most of his usage was on the first drive of the game with Kirk Cousins and the offense struggling to push the ball downfield. London will rebound, but it may not be as fruitful an offense as previously thought.

Tyler Allgeier rushed three times for 21 yards in the Falcons’ Week 1 loss to the Steelers.

The Falcons’ running back rotation was a whole lot of Bijan Robinson and not much else. Allgeier saw three touches and showed some burst on his carries while seeing some backfield snaps that had both Allgeier and Robinson in the game. Allgeier is a valuable handcuff moving forwards, but is less likely to have standalone value.

Bijan Robinson rushed 18 times for 68 yards in the Falcons’ Week 1 loss to the Steelers, adding five receptions for 43 yards.

Robinson was easily the main focal point of the Falcons’ offense seeing the first three touches of the game. Though he did not find the end zone, Robinson saw 15 touches before halftime and was the clear top option for Atlanta. With less than four yards per carry, it was an inefficient day for Robinson, but the heavy usage is an encouraging sign. Pencil Robinson in as an RB1 moving forward.

Kirk Cousins completed 16-of-26 passes for 155 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Falcons’ 18-10, Week 1 loss to the Steelers.

Cousins had an underwhelming performance in his Falcons debut, tossing two interceptions and fumbling the ball on a miscommunication with Ross Dwelley in motion. He was nearly strip-sacked for another turnover during the game and his last pick was a costly fourth quarter drive-ender. Ray-Ray McCloud was his most-targeted receiver on the day while the Falcons offense struggled to push the ball downfield. There will be growing pains as the Falcons offense continues to develop, but it was a rough start as Bijan Robinson was a focal point. Cousins coming off his Achilles injury will be a QB2 heading into next week.

Falcons declared RB Jase McClellan, CB Antonio Hamilton Sr., DL Brandon Dorlus, OL Jovaughn Gwyn, WR Casey Washington, and DL Ruke Orhorhoro inactive for Week 1 against the Steelers.

McClellan is sixth-round rookie who is now a healthy scratch with the Falcons having a full running back room Week 1. Washington, Orhorhoro, Gwyn and Dorlus are also healthy inactives. Hamilton was ruled out due to a groin injury, but other than that, the Falcons enter Week 1 against the Steelers with a clean bill of health.

Kyle Pitts (hamstring) was removed from the Week 1 injury report and will play against the Steelers.

Pitts was limited in Wednesday’s practice because of the hamstring issue but got upgraded to full sessions on Thursday and Friday. Still chasing the specter of his outstanding rookie season, Pitts opens the season with a revenge matchup versus Arthur Smith, who is now the Steelers’ offensive coordinator. With the hamstring issue behind him, Pitts ranks as a mid-range TE1 heading into Week 1.

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.

Pitts was listed as limited on Wednesday but took to social media later in the evening to downplay the severity of his injury. Pitts doesn’t appear to be at risk of missing Sunday’s Week 1 contest against the Steelers, which is good news for his fantasy managers, who hope a season with Kirk Cousins can help him tap into his fullest fantasy potential. After posting a 68-1,026-1 line as a rookie, Pitts has totaled just 81 receptions for 1,023 yards and five touchdowns over the last two years combined. He profiles as a mid-TE1 against the Steelers but could become one of the best values in fantasy drafts if Cousins can unlock him.
